The remaining 41 players return at 12 p.m. local time today for the second and final day of Event #45: Big Blind Antes $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em (30 minute levels) to play down to a winner. The 1,712 entries generated a prize pool of $1,502,257. The 41 players left are all guaranteed $5,376 at least but they will battle it out for the first prize of $258,255 and the WSOP gold bracelet.
Steven Wolansky is the chip leader to start the day with a stack of 620,000. He is followed closely by DJ MacKinnon (532,000). Some notables still in the running include bracelet winner Kathy Liebert (245,000), as well as Joseph Cheong (280,000), Esther Taylor (126,000) and Kelly Minkin (136,000).
When action resumes, players will start at Level 21 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante. Levels will be 30 minutes in length and there will be a 15-minute break every 4 levels, plus a dinner break.
